Anti-Snap Locks
Not all anti-snap locks are the same this article explains the difference for our customers in Billinge.
When looking for anti-snap locks for your doors customers need to be aware that only 3 star euro cylinders are tested to withstand a snapping style attack. The picture above shows 3 locks which look exactly the same however although they all have the same keyway, all have the same amount of pins in them only the 3 star lock is anti snap (Identified by the British standard kite mark on it with 3 stars above). Unfortunately some manufacturers may describe their locks as anti-snap or snap resistant but its easy to recognise which ones are simply by the 3 stars.
